Your monthly budget (50 / 30 / 20)
$0
Split into three simple buckets:
50% · Needs
Rent, food, utilities, insurance, minimum debt.
30% · Wants
Dining out, streaming, hobbies, travel, gifts.
20% · Save / Debt
Emergency fund, investing, extra debt payments.
How to use this split

If 50% doesn't cover your needs, you have a "fixed-cost" problem — look at rent or transport. If there's nothing left for savings, trim wants first. Hitting 20%+ toward savings or debt pay-down every month is how wealth actually gets built.
